A Guitar For Adrian Raso

H ere are some new pictures of Adrian’s guitar. It will be finished this week and Adrian is itching to play it! Side view of Adrian's guitar sans strings.               Here is a short clip of the binding process of a “La Parisienne” oval hole guitar. This one is being made for Adrian Raso for an exciting upcoming recording/film documentary project.   Check out Adrian’s site here for more information about this very cool project:

Michael Collins graduated from the Roberto Venn School of Luthiery in 1992. He built Harpsichords, and Fortepianos for the firm of Hubbard & Broekman Harpsichords in Boston for seven years, before resuming his love for guitar building. He began making reproductions of Selmer style instruments in 2002, and wrote a book describing that process which was published in 2006. He lives in Arizona, and is in the middle of creating a Selmer guitar building course for the Roberto Venn School of Luthiery.
